Welcome to Northslope Alaskan Malamutes our loveable companions in showing and working. We are Donna & Steve and we both have a passion and commiment for one thing " our Malamutes".We live in Essex in the UK and have been owned by the breed since 2002.We are currently owned by four wonderful dogs, Neo, Luna, Dodge and Troy. All our dogs are first and foremost a big part of family life and live indoors with us.
It was Steve that 1st brought my attention to this wonderful breed and we went along to meet the gang at Anuvak and this is where it all begins.
The first malamute we brought home was Neo in 2002 he introduced us to the joys of this breed. He has only ever been our pet so he was never shown or worked until we met Lorna ans Steve (Articrainbow)our good friends in 2006 and this is when Luna came into our lives.They showed us the rally and show world and have been hooked ever since,we raced Neo for a whole season on his own but he was never that keen .

Dodge joined the pack in 2007 and we are looking forward to getting him out on the trails with Luna. They both enjoy to work in harness, Luna enjoyed the rally season last year working on her own with the occasional addition of Neo.
Luna has proved herself in the ring at championship show and open show level across the uk, she has qualified for crufts 2009.

 

At the end of 2008 Troy joined our pack and we are looking forward to get him in the puppy classes mid season 2009.

 

We are members of Amwa of which i am on the committee and we both play an active role
